The Annual Parking Permit is only available to residents or persons who work in Alnwick District and cost £90 for 12 months and £55 for 6 months. Prices for Annual Parking Permits valid from 1st April 2008 are £95 for 12 months and £55 for 6 months. Concessionary Permits priced at £65 are available for qualifying residents The price for Concessionary Permits valid from 1st April 2008 are £70. The permits are available from the Council Offices at Greenwell Lane, Alnwick and from the Alnwick Tourist Information Centre in the Shambles.

The Permit may be used for on-street parking, as well as in the off-street car parks, subject to any time limits.

A car (or other light vehicle) with an Annual Parking Permit displayed in the windscreen is entitled to park in any available "pay and display" parking space in the district for no further charge. This is subject to the time limits that apply.

When using a Permit in an area where parking time is restricted, a parking disc must be displayed and set at the correct time of arrival. Check local parking conditions carefully on arrival.
